Frankfurt Book Fair Launches New Fellowship
Frankfurter Buchmesse has announced the launch of a new international funding program: the Frankfurt Fellowship Network. The fellowship brings together two previous initiatives—Frankfurt Fellowship and Frankfurt Invitation Program—under one roof, offering younger professionals from the international book industry “even more targeted opportunities” for networking, training, and exchange, according to a press release.
From October 5 to 20, 2025, fellowship participants will undergo an “intensive training and networking program,” with stops in Frankfurt and Zurich. In addition to visits to publishing houses and bookshops as well as marketing presentations, the program includes matchmaking formats and networking events. The fellows will also present their companies at a collective stand at Frankfurter Buchmesse.
The new program is specifically aimed at publishers, editors, and rights and licencing managers up to the age of 40 with at least three years of professional experience. This year, the program will focus on fiction. To learn more, click here.
